Reservations
- A 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposits is required a day after making a reservation. Debit or Credit Card is accepted; the reservation will be cancelled if no deposit is made a day after reservation.
- The outstanding amount will be paid at the day the rented equipment are picked up.
Availability
- Equipment availability is not guaranteed. To help ensure availability, please reserve your order as far in advance as possible.
Rental Rates
- All Rentals rates are based on one day use only. For an extended time period please call for pricing.
- A day rental is considered from 9:00am to 9am the next day; contect us for any rental outside these hours
- All rates are in Canadian funds.
Sales Tax
- Sales tax are applied based on Alberta sales regulations.
Damage Deposit
- At the day of rental, a damage deposit of 50% the total price of all items rented is required.
- Destroyed, stained, or broken items will be charged at replacement value.
- Please check your order carefully upon receipt and contact us immediately to report any missing or damaged items. Failure to notify us may result in charges.
- To avoid any additional costs, please ensure that all rental items and packing containers are under cover from the elements and in a secure area until time of pick up.
- Damage Deposit may be held for 3 to 5 business days after rentals are returned; depending on type of equipment rented. Any missing or damaged items will be deducted from this deposit.
- The full amount of the damage deposit will be returned once your order has returned and inspected Deliveries and Pickups.
Deliveries and Pickups
- At the moment, we charge a flat fee of $60 per leg of the trip made within the city of Calgary; this is regardless of the size of the equipment and the location in the city; this prices is subject to change without notice.
- Deliveries are typically made the day of the function.
- Requests for deliveries/pickups outside of regular business hours (9am-5pm) must be made when placing your order (additional charges will apply).
- Additional charges will apply if the delivery location is up or down stairs, requires the use of an elevator, or is in a difficult to access area. Information regarding delivery specifics must be provided when you place your order.
Set up and Dismantling
- In cases where Bargain Event Rentals is not hired to set-up rented equipment, the renter will be solely responsible for any damages to equipment or injuries caused during equipment set up.
- Set up and dismantling of rental equipment is not included in the rental fee. If interested, you can order for rental equipment set-up separately.
- It is your responsibility to arrange for the set up and dismantling of tents, tables, chairs and other rental items.
- Unless arrangements are made prior to setup and dismantling, upon delivery, our drivers will leave all goods neatly stacked in a single area.
- In preparation for pick up, tents, tables, chairs and other rental items must be gathered together and stacked, in the same manner as they were when dropped off.
- Rental items not ready for pick up at the originally scheduled time will result in additional fees.
Out of Town Deliveries/Pick-ups
- We charge additional kilometer rate for out of town delivery. Please, call for pricing.
Unused items
- There are no refunds for unused equipment.
Cancellations and Changes
- Our cancellation and change policy is 7 days from the rental date. Any cancellations after the 7 days period will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
- For all rental orders, a 50% non-refundable deposit is requested at time of booking. Cancellations of an order will result in the initials deposit being lost.
Rental No Show
- In a case of no show, the renter would be charge the full amount for the equipment reserved.
Equipment Condition
- Equipment should be returned in the condition they were rented in.
- It is your responsibility, from the time of receipt until the time of return, to keep all items secure from theft and damage; this includes water, snow, hail, and fire damage.
Tents
- We recommend setting the tent on a levelled surface.
- We recommend using tent weights to hold the tent to the ground.
- Before the tent canopy is packed and folded, ensure that the canopy is dry and all stains are thoroughly cleaned.
- It is the renter’s responsibility to familiarizing themselves the local fire and safety rules.
- We recommend the renter dismantle the tent as soon as their event is over.
- Observe proper installation and dismantling techniques.
- We recommend vacating the tent and possibly dismantling the tent in cases of strong winds, rains, or snow.
- In cases where the tent is damaged, we will charge full replacement value (including shipping fees) of the tent.
